The regular scheduled Fiscal Court meetings are held on the first and third Tuesdays of each month at 9:30 a.m. at the Carlisle County Courthouse in the Fiscal Court Room, 2nd Floor. Meetings are open to the public.

Functions performed by the clerk’s office include vehicle transactions and registrations, records deeds, mortgages, liens, assumed names, articles of incorporation, wills, etc. Issues and recorded marriage licenses and sells hunting and fishing licenses. Responsible for the preparation of real estate tax bills and collection of delinquent tax bills.
This office also conducts all of the elections and processes voter registrations.
